Kiwi's who have us smitten

We've met some lovely people here...part of the charm in not knowing anybody is a permission [given by me to myself] to just join in where they are. Here are a few snapshots from our weekend in Rotorua. They were in order of the narrative...now they aren't!
Marri and Alf. I tentatively asked Marri if the ONE open chair at the BluesFeast [with REAL Chicago blues!] was available. Not only did she insist I take it, she:
1. Pulled out a second "Ravinia" chair from under the table supplying now both Brent and I with comfortable digs to enjoy the tunes;
2. Introduced me to Jane - the curator of the local museum - who gave me a free admission ticket and whose husband Graham - a tall Scot withh a 9 handicap played golf with Brent the next day;
Marri and Alf are pictured about 1/2 way down the gallery.

A girl and her dad. He laid back on the grass - tossed her as she squealed - meanwhile balancing one of the nine or so specialty beers on tap that afternoon. For $30, you also got the stein.

The man in the tee-shirt kept his arm around his girl all afternoon. She, tipping into him slightly, not too close as it was sweaty out. You can't see the man. Or his girl. Just the "Old Guys Rule" which says it all. Well almost all. I couldn't find a tee-shirt that said "Old Short Guys Rule" [that's for you Weiner].

A sweetheart with perfect curls, an almost pout and that hat! The children here are scrumptious.

And as luck would have it, we were spoiled by TWO Adams. Our river guide. Adam 1. He's shown in the first picture. All biceps. Adam 2 is at the bar. Pouring. One of three brothers at the - you guessed it - Three Brothers Winery. After this pose, Brent came back for a quick "chinwag" with the dazzling brunette. [Adam's girlfriend].
